Two people found dead at Collingham address

Two people were found dead at their home in Collingham, near Newark, last night (Thursday).

Police were called to the house in Barnfield Road shortly after 7pm in response to concerns about the well-being of the occupants.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to help secure access to the house.

The bodies of a man and a woman were found inside.

A cordon was put in place while police carried out their enquiries.

Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious and a file is now being prepared for the coroner.
