Man tries to track down woman in photograph

A man who found a professionally-taken photograph of a woman inside the sleeve of a vinyl record believes she could be from Newark.

Mr Neil Clark, of Walkeringham, unwittingly came into possession of the photo on March 11 after attending a WeBuy2Sell auction at Newark Auction Salerooms on Northern Road.

He found the photograph inside a long playing vinyl, which was a sound story recording of the 1965-1968 TT Races.

"It looks for all the world like the work of a professional," Mr Clark said.

"(It is) maybe a portfolio shot or maybe just an example form a one-off treat at the photographers.

"Seeing as the lot was submitted to the Newark saleroom, I guess the lady is reasonably local to the town."

If you are the person in the photograph, or know who she is, contact Mr Clark at onearmedbandit@btinternet.com or on 01427 890539.
