More details have been released following Friday's fatal collision on the A17 at Leadenham.




A new appeal for information and more details have been released regarding Friday's fatal collision in Leadenham.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that the two people who died in the collision between a silver Vauxhall Zafira and a blue Mercedes low loader crane on the A17 on Friday (you can read this story here) were a couple from Lincolnshire in their late seventies.

The HGV driver is in his fifties and recovering in Queen's Medical Centre at Nottingham.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "We would like to repeat our appeals for any dash-cam footage or anyone who was in the area and either saw the collision or saw the silver Vauxhall Zafira or the blue Mercedes low loader crane before the collision to contact us on 101."
