A total of 84 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In the last seven days there have been 687 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is up 18 cases on the previous seven days.
In the latest 24-hour period, there have been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 234.
According to the latest public data, 10,660,981 (up 50,023) patients in the UK have tested positive and 146,135 (up 148) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to December 8 is 51,183,457 (up 21,700).
