Total 564 coronavirus cases reported in Newark and Sherwood from Monday, April 4, to Monday, April 11, according to Public Health England
A total of 564 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood since Monday, April 4, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Ashfield 41,824 cases (up 521) Bassetlaw 38,745 (up 547) Broxtowe 36,802 (up 525) Gedling 39,890 (up 495) Mansfield 37,127 (up 527) Newark and Sherwood 38,348 (up 564) Rushcliffe 40,431 (up 614) Nottingham city 107,986 (up 826) and Nottinghamshire 273,167 (up 3,793).
In the last seven days there have been 648 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down 356 cases on the previous seven-day period.
And there has been six new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, taking the total to 286.
According to the latest data, 21,641,004 (up 281,323) patients in the UK tested positive and 170,107 (up 4.327) people died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to April 10 is 52,925,734 (up 98,874) the number with the second dose is 49,556,712 (up 78,425) and the booster 38,974,239 (up 107,574).
