Total 274 coronavirus cases reported in Newark and Sherwood from Friday, April 1, to Monday, April 4, according to Public Health England
A total of 274 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood since Friday, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Ashfield 41,303 cases (up 272) Bassetlaw 38,198 (up 271) Broxtowe 36,277 (up 278) Gedling 39,395 (up 219) Mansfield 36,600 (up 283) Newark and Sherwood 37,784 (up 274) Rushcliffe 39,817 (up 258) Nottingham city 107,160 (up 548) and Nottinghamshire 269,374 (up 1,855).
In the last seven days there have been 1,004 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down 128 cases on the previous seven-day period.
And there has been one new death reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, taking the total to 280.
According to the latest data, 21,359,681 (up 142,807) patients in the UK tested positive and 165,780 (up 210) people died within 28 days of positive test.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose up to April 3 is 52,826,860 (up 23,759) the number with the second dose is 49,478,287 (up 38,528) and the booster 38,866,665 (up 42,991).
