A total of 70 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

In the last seven days there have been 834 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down 61 cases on the previous seven-day period.
In the latest 24-hour period, there have been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 269.
