A van became stuck in the River Devon on Normanton Lane, Bottesford this morning

These were the scenes in Bottesford this morning as Normanton Lane was flooded when the River Devon rose over the road, causing a van to become stuck.
The driver, who was not from the area, had to abandon the van and be rescued by the emergency services.
Flooding has caused problems across the district this morning, with a lane closed on the A1 southbound near Balderton.
