The 'world's biggest' Vegan Camp-Out starts today
Newark's Vegan Camp-Out begins today.
The meat-free festival attended by thousands each year will be held at Newark Showground until Sunday.
It offers a broad spectrum of events across the three days, including vegan talks, activism, food, live music and kids activities.
Partnered with Viva! — an active organisation fighting to stop cruelty and harm to animals — the festival hopes to provide people with a different perspective, despite welcoming those from all walks of life.
Advertised by organisers at the world’s biggest vegan festival, campers are expected from more than 30 countries.
There is also a huge line-up with stages for music, talks and activism.
The camp-out has been hosted annually since 2016, where the total attendance has risen from a modest 400 people, to an expectation of 5,000 this year.
