Lincolnshire Police Rural Crime Action Team seize vehicle on A17

Officers have seized a vehicle on the A17 following a roadside check.

The vehicle caught the officers' attention as it was carrying a large amount of scrap metal.

A routine stop check was conducted to check if the correct waste carrier's licence was in use.

Lincolnshire Police Rural Crime Action Team seized the lorry after discovering it had no tax.

Enquiries will also be made with the local council to ensure that the correct door to door scrap collectors licence is in use.
