Ollerton vets practice support Parkgate Academy with banner
A link-up is being forged between a primary school and vets practice.
Dixon & Young, of Ollerton, has sponsored a large promotional banner for the town's Parkgate Academy.
It features the vets' dogs, Twix, Twiglet and Pringles.
Year six pupils recently visited the practice, in the former police houses, to show the banner, which will be used at sporting events across the county.
Vet Janice Dixon said: “We are delighted to have sponsored the banner’s purchase. It’s a real pleasure to forge community links with the Parkgate Academy.”
In addition, pupils have promised to return to Dixon & Young in May to set sunflower plants as part of a community project.
They are also arranging a Saturday afternoon car wash at Dixon & Young with proceeds going to school funds.
