Muskham and District Horticultural Society holds annual summer show

A village horticultural society has held its annual summer show.

Muskham and District Horticultural Society held the show at South Muskham Village Hall.

The categories included vegetables, fruit, house plants,flowers, baking, pickles and preserves.

The society received 167 entries in all, which was an increase from the previous year. I've attached photos of the trophy winners.

Marian Jackson received five trophies and Isobel Cross received the trophy for best in show for her magnificent white gladioli.

The next event is the annual meeting on Friday October 13 at 7pm.

The Christmas festive quiz and supper evening will be held on Thursday December 7.

Both events will be at South Muskham Village Hall.
