Warning over expected heavy rainfall

Nottinghamshire households are being advised to prepare for expected high rainfall levels over the next few days.

The county council has been gearing up ready to address any issues which may arise from the heavy rainfall and support local communities.

The authority recommends that people who are concerned that their property may be at risk of flooding to take the necessary steps to protect their home.

Residents are also being advised to keep a lookout for local weather forecasts on television, radio or the internet.
