Litter including empty bottles, used takeaway packaging and cigarette butts has been left strewn in the entrance of a graveyard.
The waste has been discovered in the graveyard at the bottom of Bishop's Drive, Southwell, by the town's police and community support officer, Richard Dunne.
Nottinghamshire Police is warning those responsible to show more respect for the area.
It said any youths hanging around the area would be moved on as it was not the first time the area had been left in such a mess.
