Weather: Sunny start but rain later for Newark

Newark can expect a sunny start this morning before rain moves in this afternoon.

The fine weather, with temperatures of up to 20C, should last until around 3pm. Rain is then forecast until around 9pm this evening.

Unlike yesterday, when heavy showers and thunder brought tricky conditions during the afternoon, the Met Office has not issued a repeat of its yellow weather warning for rain.
