Weather warning: Flooding possible as Met Office issues yellow alert for Saturday

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of heavy rain for Saturday.

Forecasters expect thundery downpours to hit England, Wales and southern parts of Scotland at the weekend.

Today's warning also states: "The public should be aware of the potential for localised flooding due to the intensity of these storms, although at this stage the heaviest rainfall is uncertain."
