Governor’s House, Newark, hosts day of ‘mind, body, and spirit’ to mark Spring Equinox

A town centre venue is offering a day for the ‘mind, body, and spirit’ to mark the Spring Equinox.

The Governor’s House will today (March 21) host a variety of specialist workshops centred on spiritualism and relaxation.

These include 30-minute workshops on breathwork and drumming, psychic mediumship, and a temple soundbath among others.

The workshops have a small charge and can be booked via the Governor’s House.

There will also be a range of free talks throughout the day, from 10.30am to 5.10pm.

Dawn Kinsella will discuss the origin of the spring equinox, while Nurse Sarah Barker will delve into psychedelic retreats.

Other talks will cover Tarot, manifestation, and the ‘mind-body energy connection’.

The event runs until 6pm.
