Your Home furniture store in Newark, Nottinghamshire offering £1000 in vouchers for community competition

The community is being given the chance to win vouchers at a family-owned furniture store.

Your Home Furniture Store on the Asda Retail Park is giving everyone in Newark and the surrounding areas a chance to win vouchers worth £1000 to spend on furniture in Spring 2024.

"This year has been has been especially tough post-Covid," said a company spokesman.

"Given the choices forced on people by ever-increasing bills and inflation, we want to give three lucky people the chance to buy the furniture they need with a boost of a cash voucher."

Your Home Furniture opened its doors in March 2020 having taken over the Holdens' family furniture business.

It’s not all been plain sailing though with the pandemic causing the shop to close its doors just four weeks after opening, due to lockdown.

Despite the challenges of the past three and a half years, the small but friendly team at the business has determined that their ethos of affordable good quality Furniture for All should be maintained.

Approaching their fifth year of trading, they have noticed that the trend of ever-increasing costs with suppliers has taken a new direction.

"A few furniture suppliers are now finding that they can reduce their costs to the retailer because shipping, raw material costs, and staffing issues due to the pandemic have now eased," said the spokesman from Your Home.

"The good news is that these reductions are being reflected in the prices people pay in their stores.

To celebrate this optimistic start to 2024, Your Home is offering FREE entry to win a chance of winning either a £500 or one of two £250 vouchers to spend in their store.

The competition is open from 1st December and ends on 27th December. Following a random draw, the three winners will be notified on 28th December.

People can enter by visiting the Your Home stores on the Asda retail park to enter in person or by going to their Facebook page and finding the competition entry pinned to the top of their posts.
