More than £3,000 has been raised for Newark Cancer Research after a woman Tracey Worthington completed a wing walk.
Tracey Worthington, of Farndon, took on the charity challenge to make up for funds lost at the summer luncheon, which was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “The experience was amazing. I would do it again tomorrow.
“I was incredibly nervous before hand, especially as I don’t like heights.”
Tracey said she was delighted with the growing total, which stands at £3,070, having only set a target of £1,000.
“I was blown away by people’s generosity especially in these difficult times,” she said.
