Witnesses sought to A46 crash
Police are urging anyone who witnessed a three-car crash on the A46 near Collingham today to get in touch.
A Mazda, a Volkswagen Passat, and a Toyota were involved in a crash at around 10am this morning (Thursday 13 September).
Two elderly people inside the Passat suffered life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre.
A woman who was a back seat passenger in the Passat was also taken to the QMC with serious injuries, though they are not thought to be life-threatening.
The woman driver of the Mazda was taken to Lincolnshire General Hospital. She suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. All four people remain in hospital.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
