Balderton woman asks people to check their gardens after indoor cat escapes

A woman is asking people to check their gardens after her indoor cat escaped.

Ermelinda Gonçalves wants the public to get in touch if they have spotted her male cat Angel.

Ermelinda said Angel, 2, escaped from their home on Main Street, Balderton, on Sunday.

"Can people please check your back yards in the Balderton area," she said. "My cat goes by the name Angel, he's an indoor cat and has been missing since Sunday morning.

"He is very friendly but very frightened and scared of everything outside."

Angel is microchipped and sterilised.
