Newark shooting : Woman is third person arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A 24-year-old woman has become the third person arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Newark.

She was arrested today (Tuesday) following the shooting in the Clay Lane area which happened just before 5.30pm on Thursday.

A man, in his 20s, suffered life-altering injuries.

Two men, also both aged 24, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have been released on bail.
