Youth from Dukeries Young Person Centre put into practice the skills they were taught at Edwinstowe Fire Station by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service

Young people again attended a fire station for their latest visit which gave them the opportunity to put into practice the skills they had previously learned there.

The Young People's Centre in Dukeries headed back to Edwinstowe FStation and put all their learning into action.

The latest workshop involved crossing a river, rescuing a person, and performing CPR to save their life.

This required the team to use fast, in-action critical analysis and the youngsters had to work together as a team to achieve their goals.

The workshop highlighted to young people the importance of the Fire Service and the commitment their staff undertake through their day-to-day duties to keep the community safe.

The evening was run under the watchful eyes of firefighter Jo and the Red Watch team who the centre thanked on social media.
