Congratulations to Robert Jenrick on his victory in the General Election.

He now has a substantial mandate to represent the New-ark constituency in the next parliament.

I would, however, like to know where he stands in respect of the leader of the Conservative Party.

During the recent campaign he declared on his posters that he was “standing with Theresa May.”

Does this still apply, particularly as he was previously a supporter of David Cameron and then supported Michael Gove in the leadership race?

We would all also benefit from his view on making a deal with the DUP to form a government as there is some reported historic connection between this party and the Ulster Volunteer Force during the troubles. — PETER JONES, Farndon (Full address supplied).
