Nineteen from Grove Angling Club fished Balderton Lake on Sunday when the wind played a major part and feeder tactics worked yet again.

Jack Kinsella was fortunate enough to fish the pole on peg 50 and was first with 26-12 of carp fishing dead reds.

Second went to Antony Revill on peg 26, fishing the feeder on corn with a weight of 18-8 of bream and thirrd was Ian Helsdown on peg 23 using the same method, weighing in with 14-11 of bream and roach on maggot and corn cocktail.

Fourth was Andy Dobbie with 14-10 of bream on the feeder using corn on peg 31.

Andy Hall fished on peg 45 and landed a personal best common carp weighing 8-10 on the pole using worm.

On the lighter side of angling Marcus Colby fished topless on peg three using factor ten sun cream and caught more of the sun than he did fish.
