Newark athlete Jan Bailey of Mansfield Harriers wins the inaugural Nottinghamshire AAA County Trail Championships on Sunday after finishing second in the Edwinstowe 10k trail race

Newark athlete Jan Bailey celebrated success at the inaugural Nottinghamshire AAA County Trail Championships on Sunday.

Racing for Mansfield Harriers, Bailey took part in the Edwinstowe 10k trail race which doubled up as the first championships.

Bailey came second overall and first in the county championship race, becoming the first Nottinghamshire AAA County Trail champion.
