Two teenagers proved that age is only a number after the duo combined for Caythorpe 4ths to bring down Radcliffe 3rds in Division K in the South Notts Cricket League.
Sean King’s 47 had helped Caythorpe score 174 for seven and Radcliffe were about to experience the full force of the young bowling duo.
Thirteen-year-old Ben Walker all but ended Radcliffe’s hopes of matching Caythorpe’s score when he claimed the wickets of numbers one, four, and five batsmen Tim Heath, Will Ginn and Rob Towndrow.
Walker conceded only ten runs in his devastating spell.
Fifteen-year old Sam Reynolds then joined in the fun by wrapping up the lower order with another three wickets — for only five runs.
