Chase Marcham takes manager's role at Southwell City on temporary basis
Reserve team manager Chase Marcham has taken over as manager at Southwell City on a temporary basis following the recent departure of Dave Scott.
He has been drafted into the role after improving the reserve team's form in the early part of the season.
Committee member Jonny Upton said he felt Marcham was the right man to unite the club during a challenging period.
"It's been a difficult couple of months with a lot of changes at the club but Chase has done well with the reserves," he said.
"A number of players have left as well as Dave, so it's going to be quite a challenge to unite the team.
"We are not doing well at the moment for a number of reasons but we need to find a way out of our current situation."
Marcham's inherited team will be in action when they host Pinxton at the Memorial Ground on Saturday.
