Commonwealth Games: Adam Dixon scores as England defeat Malaysia

Newark's Adam Dixon opened his account at the Commonwealth Games as he netted in England's 8-1 thrashing of Malaysia in their second group match in the men's hockey.
Dixon pounced on a loose ball and slotted home England's third goal to give them breathing space after a dogged Malaysian side held the home favourites to a 1-1 draw at half-time.
England went on to win 8-1 and record their second straight win in the competition.
Dixon and England face New Zealand tomorrow.
