Epic golden gloves score some epic victories as Esham Pickering's boxers win four out of five




Four wins in their last five bouts has Epic Golden Gloves Gym riding a wave of success.

Nogus Lukjanovas. a 16-year-old fighter trained by gym owner and former professional boxer Esham Pickering, won his debut fight against Basi Raul at the Newark Amateur Boxing Club event at Farndon.

It was also Raul’s first bout, the boxer from Leicester Railways Men’s Club and Lukjanovas fought at the Newark Amateur Boxing Club show in Farndon.

“He fought well and deserved to get the win,” said Pickering.

Thomas Newbury joined Lukjanovis, who fought his second bout in three days, as they travelled to Cannock on Sunday where both boxers got their hands raised.

Epic Golden Gloves gym trainer Daryl Morton took Dovydas Kristupis and Aaron Laybourn to Derby where Kristupis won his bout and Laybourn suffered a loss to Rowen Ramsey.
