The Wright family from Southwell Golf Club win more trophies as Lottie and Sam Wright continue to impress




A golfing family has again done well in competitions at their club as they continue to win prizes.

The Wright family from Oxton has a history of dominating events at Southwell Golf Club and recently they have maintained the trend.

Junior member Lottie Right paired up with Fez McLennan on the club's charity invitation day to win the event with an unprecedented score of 50 Stableford points.

Lottie maintained her fine form with a score of 41 on the lady captain's day as she won by six points.

Her brother Sam became the club men's champion for the third time as he continues to be a force to be reckoned with at Southwell.

Sam overcame a four-shot deficit after the first round to win by five shots against his friend Jack Taylor who came second.

Paul Crerand had the best net score over the two rounds to win the Club Shield.
