Newark and Sherwood United bring back Ryan Ebanks after stints at Grantham Town and Carlton Town




Fans of a district football club are elated at the news that one of their favourite sons is now back.

Newark and Sherwood United have announced that Ryan Ebanks who was dual signed with Grantham Town and went on to play for Carlton Town will be returning.

Ebanks was an instrumental part of the squad in the past and was part of the county cup winning team of last season under previous manager Jonathan D’Laryea.

The Highwaymen confirmed that their last year’s supporters player of the year will be back with them on a permanent basis.

The former Notts County player will look to strengthen the back line of Newark and Sherwood United in their quest to finish as high up the United Counties League Premier Division North table as possible.

“We are really glad to have Ryan back with us on a permanent basis,” said Newark and Sherwood United’s manager Romaine Graham.

“Not only is he a great footballer but he has the right attitude and Newark in his heart.”
