Foster and Dent both score twice in Newark victory

An impressive 5-1 win against Ragmarhia from Derby helped Newark maintain their pressure at the top of the league.

They started the match brightly, putting their opponents under pressure.

Ragmarhia were good on the break but Newark led going into half-time after Ryan Foster tucked home from Scott Robinson’s square ball.

They doubled the advantage soon after the break, Foster once again on hand to sweep home a from a cut back.

Newark went on to score three more goals in the next five minutes.

Josh Dent flicked home on the reverse with the opposition keeper stranded, and Jack McMunn notched his first senior goal after a through ball from David Colcomb.

The final goal was scored by Dent, who dribbled into the D, and beat the keeper, who was wrong-footed.

Ragmarhia scored a late consolation from a penalty corner.
