Newark Town’s game against Saffron Dynamo called off due to weather in the United Counties League football

Weather has affected another football fixture as a United Counties League Division One game has been called off today.

Newark Town were due to travel to Cosby, Leicestershire to take on Saffron Dynamo but the pitch has failed its inspection.

Earlier, Southwell City had to change venues in an effort to ensure that their game goes ahead.

A spokesman from Newark Town encouraged fans to attend the RHP game at the YMCA all weather pitch today.

RHP will take on Ollerton Reserves in the Central Midlands League Alliance (kick-off 3pm).
