Newark Alliance First Division : Hurst hits hat-trick in RHP Reserves rout

A first-half hat-trick by Joe Hurst put RHP Reserves in the driving seat in an 8-0 win at Evolution.

His treble, coupled with goals by Joe Powell and Rob Winter gave RHP a 5-0 lead going into half-time.

James Osgerby, Scott Walker, and Joe Brumpton scored in the second-half and gave the reserve team a comfortable victory.

Five goals for Old Magnusians striker Chris Wareham proved to be the difference as they won 6-2 away at Knowhow United.

He scored in both halves, and there was an additional strike by Daniel Shacklock to earn them the three points.

Leo Freshney and Karl North scored the consolations for Knowhow.

Old Magnusians were held 4-4 the previous Thursday.

Wareham was on top-form with four goals in the draw, making his tally nine in three days.

Ryan Horton, Stuart Moody, Lukas Zyntiak and Jack Salmon were the midweek scorers for Evolution.

Knowhow enjoyed better success on the same evening with a 2-2 draw at home against league leaders AFC Farnsfield.

Rhuel Samuels scored both goals for Knowhow.

Callam Atkinson and John Haywood scored for Farnsfield.
