England cricketer Monty Panesar was the final name to join the Lashings All-Stars team who will line-up against Bingham Cricket Club on Friday.

The game at Butt Field — the biggest in Bingham’s history — also features former England players Devon Malcolm, John Emburey, Owais Shah, Usman Afzaal and Chris Schofield in the Lashings squad.

International stars Kirk Edwards, Wasim Jaffer, Alfonso Thomas and Charl Willoughby are also set to feature. Gordon Greenidge will coach the squad.

Commentary for the game at Butt Field will be provided by Henry Blofeld.

The Bingham select team is captained by former Leicestershire captain Matthew Boyce and features a number of club players.

One of those will be Ian Flood, who scored an imperious 141 not out for Bingham in their victory over Kirkby Portland 2nds on Saturday.

Chairman Paul Maylard-Mason said: “It will be a great thrill for all of us to see the Lashings stars in action. I hope the people of Bingham turn out to support our team.”

Gates open at 3pm for a 4pm start. Tickets are £5 for adults, £2 for children or £10 for a family.
