Patrick Bamford helped loan club Middlesbrough pull off a shock in the FA Cup as they knocked out last year's Premier League champions Manchester City.

Bamford, 21, from Norwell opened the scoring in the second-half as he showed determination to force the ball over the line as Fernando attempted to clear.

The Chelsea loanee then set up Kike for their second as Middlesbrough moved into the fifth-round with a 2-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

Bamford has now scored ten goals for the club having signed on loan at the start of the season, and he expressed his delight on Twitter soon after the game.
