Claypole, Collingham and Coddington Winthorpe achieve promotions in the South Notts Cricket League
Several district sides are at the top end of the table in a closely contested competition.
Division D of the South Notts League has seen the Collingham 2nds secure promotion by winning the league with a game to spare.
The side defeated Plumtree by four wickets and hold a 28-point lead over Notts Unity Casuals.
The side put Plumtree in to bat at home and held them to 97, bowling them all out in just over 31 overs.
The win sees them secure promotion and they will play in Division C next season.
Lee Fazackerley was the best with the ball as he took three wickets for 19 runs.
Wicketkeeper and opening batsman Ross Taylor expertly guided his side across the line hitting 38 not out.
He was supported by Jacob Caveney who scored 24 before being dismissed.
Also in Division D, Southwell defeated Thrumpton by eight wickets.
The big win saw them move to within two points of Notts Unity and they currently lie in third place.
Southwell restricted Thrumpton to 162 off 45 overs after putting the visitors into bat.
Thrumpton only lost three wickets but were unable to post a large score.
Southwell came back after a shaky start with the bat and took the win with a beautiful 89-not-out score from Joe Fryer.
"All of our attention is now turned to our final game of the season," said captain Jonny Butler.
"A win against Notts Unity Casuals will see Southwell promoted so we hope to continue our form."
The other Division D team in the district, Farndon sits in fifth place and secured a two-wicket win over Young Lions.
Young Lions hosted Farndon, won the toss, and elected to bat.
They managed 181 before being bowled out by the visitors.
Dan Collington took four wickets for Farndon at a cost of an economical 32 runs.
Adam Baldwin was the best with the bat hitting 49, while captain Martyn Hill scored 32.
It was another big win in Division K as Coddington and Winthorpe won by 84 runs over hosts West Bridgfordians.
The side secured the league promotion and sits almost 100 points above their nearest competitor.
Captain Dominik Modd scored 102 with the bat in the match as the side hit 239 in 40 overs.
In response, the hosts could only manage 155 before being bowled out.
The captain again stepped up as he took four wickets for 38 runs.
In Division K, another district side has secured promotion as Claypole achieved this feat for the second year running.
The side defeated Lowdham by 284 runs after posting 305 with the bat.
Captain Matt Taylor scored 119 while fellow opener Chris Wharmy achieved 104.
In what a jaw-dropping display of bowling, Lowdham were all out for 21 runs.
Taylor was again instrumental as he took five wickets for seven runs.
