Newark's mixed 1st team remains undefeated and now tops the league

The mixed 1st team of Newark Tennis Club remain undefeated after winning 67-41 over Woodthorpe.

The win saw Newark take over the top spot as Woodthorpe were league leaders before the defeat.

Sam Smith and Sara Jackson won 29-7 (10-2,10-2,9-3).

Ashley Hallam and Steph Smith won 21-15 (5-7,9-3,7-5).

John Bramley and Jen Brown narrowly lost 17-19 (5-7,6-6,6-6).

Newark's mixed 3rd team faced Collingham and suffered a 71-37 defeat.

Annie Walton/Todor Malinov had the most success with 20-16 (7-5,7-5,6-6) but the newer pairings didn’t fair as well. Annie Waghorn/Steve Peters 7-29. Adrian Smith/Jill Pindar 10-26.
