Lynn Combes gets a silver in the World Masters Hockey World Cup as part of England side

Hockey star Lynn Combes has picked up a silver medal in the women's over 45-years-old category at the 2022 Masters Hockey World Cup as she represented England.

The Newark resident played in the final of the event on Tuesday as the English team went down to winners Argentina 3-1.

England beat Germany in the semi-finals after previously losing to them in Pool A.

England earlier drew with Argentina in the pool game but the South Americans were too strong in the final as they bought home the gold.
