Newark R and M, Collingham 2nds, Coddington, Claypole, Collingham 3rds all champions in their divisions of the South Notts Cricket League
Clubs all across the district have done well in the South Notts Cricket League with several becoming champions of their divisions.
Newark R and M led the charge as they defeated Ruddington on the road by four wickets in Division C.
The victory secured the side champion status of Division C and they will now move up to Division B next season.
The side can look forward to playing runners-up Ruddington next year as they will also be joining Newark in Division B after also securing promotion.
It is the club's first title win for the 1st team since 2016.
It is also the club's first appearance in Division B in over 15 years.
There is a real sense of optimism at the club with their lower sides also doing well this season.
In Division D, Collingham 2nds won the league and will be promoted to Division C next season.
Southwell and Farndon will both spend another season in Division D after finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
Coddington and Winthorpe finished an impressive season topping Division J without losing a single game.
The side were almost 100 points ahead of runners-up Poplars who will be joining the winners in Division H next season.
The side didn't even have to play their last game as Ellerslie conceeded.
In the division below, Claypole secured their second promotion in a row as they will now play in Division J next season.
It was a strong showing for the Claypole side who had several dominating victories in Division K including bowling an entire team out for just 21 runs.
Collingham 3rds won Division M with Newark R and M's 3rd team coming runners-up in the competition.
Both teams will now go up into Division L next season.
