Thomas steams ahead for Newark

There was a fine second place for Newark Swimming Club at the second round of the Sports Centre Gala League at Beechdale Baths.

Falcon led the way with 164 points, but Newark earned a solid runners-up spot with 137 points, thanks to 13 first places, while there were also nine personal best times for Newark swimmers at the gala.
