Football, Rugby and Cricket to watch in and around Newark this weekend
There will be plenty for sports lovers this weekend in the district as several clubs will take to the field at home.
In the Notts Premier Cricket League, most of the season is completed but Caythorpe will host Notts and Arnold in their last match of the campaign.
The match will take place at the club which is located at Old Lincoln Road, Caythorpe, United Kingdom, NG32 3DF.
Newark Rugby Club will host rivals Long Eaton tomorrow (Saturday) in a game that will have free entry for all, (kick-off 3pm).
Southwell Rugby Club will host Burton at home in their Counties One Midlands East (North) fixture.
Admission is free (kick-off 3pm).
Bingham Rugby Club will be hosting a family fun day tomorrow, Saturday, September 9.
It will start at 2.30pm and will feature a barbecue, sumo suits and a bouncy castle.
The club will be showing World Cup Rugby games culminating in England against Argentina at 8pm.
They will also show three games on Sunday.
Ollerton Rugby Club will have their 1st and 2nd teams at home.
Their 1st team will take on Tupton (kick-off 3pm).
The 2nds will play Southwell's 3rds team.
Southwell City will host Harrowby in their United Counties League Division One football fixture tomorrow (Saturday 3pm).
£5 entry with a free programme while stocks last.
Another United Counties League Division One fixture will take place when Newark Town hosts West Bridgford at the YMCA tomorrow (Saturday 3pm) £6 entry for Adults, £4 for concessions, under 16s are free.
Kirton Brickworks will be at home the first time this season in the Central Mids League when they take on Teversal Reserves tomorrow (Saturday, kick-off 3pm).
Collingham will host Stapleford (kick-off 3pm) at Station Road, Collingham, tomorrow (Saturday) in the Notts Senior League Euro Soccer Premier Division.
Sunday sees the second round of the Newark Alliance take place.
All kick-off times are Sunday, 10.30am unless otherwise stated.

Barkestone le Vale will host RHP at Woodlane football ground.
Farnsfield Villa will host Nobody Inn at The Acres Playing Field.
Walesby will host Rose and Crown at Walesby Village Sports Association.
Division One will see Collingham Sunday host Laxton Athletic at Collingham FC.
Holy Trinity Reserves will take on Rose and Crown Reserves at Balderton Playing Fields.
Newark Town Sunday will host Harrowby Salmons at Devon Park.
Skillington Beehive will host Bottesford on Sunday at Skillington Village Hall.
The Second Division will see Bleasby 1sts take on AFC Coddington as they welcome them to the Arthur Radford Hall and Sports Ground.
Musketeers go up against The Three Gables at Magnus Sports Centre, Newark.
Newark Town Sunday Reserves will play RHP Reserves at Devon Park.
Sutton-on-Trent will welcome AFC Colsterworth to Sutton-on-Trent Village Sports and Community Centre.
