Coddington and Winthorpe Cricket Club stars picked for Nottinghamshire




Four rising cricket stars have been called up to represent the county of Nottinghamshire.

Coddington and Winthorpe Cricket Club can now boast not one, not two, but four youngsters who have been selected to join Nottinghamshire Cricket Club’s youth ranks.

Two Under 11 players, Sam Barbuti, a bowler, and Toby Lambert, a wicket keeper and batsman, have been called up to the county’s under-11 team.

Under-15 players, bowler Ashlie Richardson and batter Holly Hunt, both 15, have also been selected to join Nottinghamshire’s ranks.

Coach Gary Lambert, who is also Toby’s dad, said: “We want to get them some recognition because they’ve all done so well.”
