The next day, Seren was again racing in the second round of the series as she improved on her moto results coming first, first, and second in each of the races.

In the semi-final, she finished third securing a spot in another A final.

Another podium finish looked on the cards for the youngster as the nine-year-old was posting the second-fastest lap times of the day.

Seren chose lane eight for the final wanting to keep clear of the pack and avoid bunching up at the start.

Unfortunately, she was unable to cut in, in time to get a good position into the first corner.

She started to work her way through the pack but went too low into the second corner which cost her most of her speed.

Despite the setback, Seren kept pushing and achieved a seventh-place finish.

Her brother Hari finished 24th overall in the first round against tough competition and then finished 24th overall again the next day in the 15-16 cruiser class.

Both siblings are now racing for Creation Cycles this season who are a team based out of an independent bike shop in Radcliffe.
