Villains galore, a plot that twists and turns, and plenty of family fun are all featured in Muskham Players’ 21st pantomime.

Goody Two Shoes by Paul Reakes, directed by Paul Buck with choreography by Sue Hill, is at North Muskham Rural Community Centre from Wednesday to a week on Saturday at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee.

Septica, an evil sorceress, played by Alotte Wishart, has left her magic shoes with the Elf Cobbler (Alice Patterson) for mending.

As they are her only comfortable pair, she is far from pleased when pretty Goody Coddle (Grace Stevens) appears wearing them.

Septica’s revenge and the wishes Goody makes while wearing the shoes set in train a series of hilarious events, with lots of slapstick, jokes and songs along the way.

The music is a mix of old and new with plenty of traditional and modern features.

The cast includes Neil Stevens as Molly Coddle; Keith Baines as Teddy Coddle; Simon Symcox and Sam Waterhouse as Septica’s servants, Rolo and Polo; Emma Wright as Simon; Ian Harrison as Titus Tightwad; Julie Symcox as his niece Cissie; and a chorus of villagers and forest demons.

Tickets are available at the door, from Pina’s in the village or Muskham Ferry.
