Autojumble attracts variety of classic cars
With more than 3,000 plots at previous events, making it one of the largest autojumbles in Europe, the next Normous Newark Classic Car and Bike Autojumble will be held at Newark Showground on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
The event is a sale of car and motorcycle parts, accessories, tools, motoring literature, brochures, mascots, automobilia, workshop manuals, and much more.
In fact, there will be anything concerned with motoring for sale, with the emphasis being on the older, and not-so-old, collectors’ car or motorcycle.
The event attracts stallholders from all over the UK, and customers from Europe and America.
A unique feature of Newark autojumbles is that customers attending, driving or riding their classic vehicles, are allocated a separate parking area within the showground and will have the benefit of a reduced admission charge.
This means there is an ever-changing display of up to 1,000 classic vehicles.
The event is open to the general public at 10am, with an admission charge of £6. Accompanied children under 12 are free.
There is a free display-to-sell area for classic vehicles, children’s attractions and club displays.
