Open auditions to take place for Friends! The Musical Parody ahead of UK tour, to visit Theatre Royal Nottingham




A musical parody of a hit sitcom is heading out on tour — and is seeking new talent.

Friends! The Musical Parody has been a hit in New York and Las Vegas, and will open it’s UK tour later this year.

Fresh talent is being sought to play the the iconic characters of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther, with open auditions to take place in Cirencester and London later this month. Submissions for the open auditions should be made by sending a cv and headshot to auditions@markgoucher.com.

The side-splitting musical comedy will open at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester in July 2025 and will visit the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from Wednesday, September 17, to Saturday, September 20.

Packed with iconic moments from all ten seasons of the beloved television series, the uncensored, fast-paced production features an original musical score as it showcases the escapades of the friends as they tackle the challenges of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

It is recommended for audiences aged 13 and above.

The musical parody will be directed by Michael Gyngell (The Full Monty).
