Much-loved Christmas film The Snowman returns to Lincoln Cathedral supported by live orchestra
A festive fan favourite returns to the big screen and will be brought to life once again by a live orchestra at Lincoln Cathedral, writes Tyler Kay.
Beloved Christmas film The Snowman will once again return to the cathedral, and will be supported by a live orchestra and soloists from the Cathedral Choir.
The nave will glimmer and sparkle to create a spectacular sight and a magical atmosphere for old and young alike.
Samantha Mellows said: “Every year ‘The Snowman’ is a highlight in the cathedral calendar. We love to see generations of families returning each year, as well as all the new faces who are coming to the event for the first time.
“As well as enjoying this classic Christmas film, it’s a wonderful opportunity to hear live music, get up close and meet the musicians — which in itself is a magical experience for many of the children who come to watch each year.”
There will be seven performances across Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15.
Tickets are on sale now with prices starting at £9.50.
