Fireman Sam - The Great Camping Adventure and Lemn Sissay at Newark Palace Theatre
Fireman Sam and friends are heading to Newark’s Palace Theatre with a new adventure.
In a holiday treat for youngsters, there will be two performances of Fireman Sam - The Great Camping Adventure on Saturday, February 22, at noon and 3.30pm.
Norman wants to go on an adventure to impress his friends, so when two famous animal explorers arrive in Pontypandy, he decides to follow them into the mountains.
But when Norman discovers a rare red squirrel, one of the explorers decides to take the glory for themselves, leaving Norman stranded in a cave.
Now it's up to Fireman Sam to save the day and ensure everyone is safe on their camping adventure!
The show, featuring songs and audience participation, is suitable for children aged three and over.
The running time is around an hour with no interval.
Ahead of Fireman Sam’s appearance, there is a visit to the Palace by author, activist and performer Lemn Sissay on Thursday, February 20.
The master of the spoken word is taking to the stage with a new thought-provoking show, including the chance to ask him questions, on the power of creativity.
